Thoughts I
Poetry is a masquerade of words that temporarily deceives the heart and mind and thereby changes the life of their owner forever.
Many of us hear a different drummer, but assume it is a neighbor’s boy.
He thought he heard the music of the spheres and was greatly impressed with himself; it proved to be incipient tinnitus.

If it were not for death there would be no progress.
The function of beauty in nature is to attract the artist, who finds and expresses a new fundamental truth contained in it (he is not interested in the old truths that have been expressed before). An open-minded scientist will then look at the artist’s product and see the new truth in a way that will inspire in him or her a new and closer understanding of the material composition of the universe. That this link exists between truth and beauty is not necessarily proof that a supreme being designed the universe, but only another instance of the self sustaining survivorship that we have evidence is at the core of all life. This process ordinarily takes some time for the link to develop. When, rarely, the artist and the scientist exist in the same skin, the link is immediate, and we have seen that the results are also immediate and extraordinary.
Every people, culture, heritage, civilization, nation or belief has a fundamentally characteristic disorder embedded at its core. Its long-term survival depends on whether its citizen-adherents have the imagination, science, art, discipline, unity and insistence on truth to discover and modify it to a new form when this disorder becomes a threat to their existence.
